Auteur

Fidele is an experienced tax consultant and a Certified Public Accountant. He is currently serving as the Managing Director at CEA Consulting Ltd. Fidele is a qualified professional accountant and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA UK) as well as the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR).
Fidele is actively involved as a Local Consultant for the “Rwanda 2021-2024 Tax Policy and Tax Administration Reform” project, a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN), the Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA), and the Korean Institute for Public Finance (KIPF). His dedication to enhancing tax policy and administration is commendable. Moreover, Fidele serves as a lecturer, imparting his knowledge in taxation papers for CPA Rwanda, further nurturing future accountants.
In terms of his career trajectory, Fidele served as a Tax Manager at BDO EA Rwanda for three years (February 2020 to March 2023). Prior to that, he dedicated eleven years to the Rwanda Revenue Authority (January 2009 to February 2020), holding various positions that showcased his versatility and adaptability. His roles included tax auditor, senior tax auditor in the Small and Medium Taxpayers Department, senior investigation officer, acting head of the domestic taxes unit in the Revenue Investigation & Enforcement Department, senior auditor in the Large Taxpayers’ Office, acting head of the return processing section, and the Taxpayers’ Account Management Division.
Fidele’s educational achievements are equally noteworthy. He holds an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification, a Master of Business Administration, an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Additionally, Fidele is currently pursuing the PODITI (Post Graduate Diploma In Tax Investigations) and the TADAT (Tax Administration Diagnostic Assessment Tool), further expanding his knowledge and staying at the forefront of his field.
